Eye for the Sensual

The Eye of the Sensual emerged as a meditation on perception, intimacy, and reflection within a museum space. The project considers the act of viewing art as an encounter with the self—a shifting dialogue in which the painting gazes back as intensely as the viewer observes it. Beauty becomes reciprocal, suspended between object and observer, surface and reflection.

Mirrored paper transforms the idea into a physical extension, creating boundaries between artwork and its audience. Typography moves across the spreads like echoes, while silkscreened vellum layers reveal imagery in delicate succession. An experience that is both tactile and ephemeral, inviting the viewer into a space where seeing becomes a form of self-recognition.
